Sharon Osbourne's stolen wedding ring has been found

Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne
Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne's house was burgled in 2004, when the couple was at home. Ozzy even struggled with the burglar, but he was able to take off with his loot: jewellery, including a 24 carat ring Sharon got when she had overcome cancer and her $332,500/£200,000/227.400 wedding ring. However, now, thanks to the tv show Crime Watch, Sharon will get her ring back!

The Daily Mail writes that South Yorkshire police appealed to the programme in order to get information on a £1 million haul of stolen jewellery. Crime Watch presenter Kirsty Young said of Sharon's ring, "let's just talk about this little beauty here - quite a bobby dazzler. If you recognise that incredible ten-carat ring or anything else, call the studio now." After the show Ozzy and Sharon's daughter Kelly was sent a link to the ring via Twitter. Kelly later tweeted, "Thank you crime watch my mum is over the moon thats her wedding ring she cried with joy because she can get it back! Thank you!"

At the time, Sharon said of losing her 18 carat, white gold, diamond encrusted Tiffany wedding band, "My wedding ring, I had to wait 25 years so Ozzy could buy me that ring. It was a ten-carat round diamond from Tiffany to replace the one he'd bought me from H. Samuel, when we first met, when we didn't have two pennies to rub together."

None of the items that were stolen in 2004 were insured. Sharon and Ozzy offered £100.000 for its return, but to no avail.
